Stuart, IA – 2010 Republican candidate for Secretary of State, Chris Sanger, has endorsed Libertarian Party nominee Jake Porter in his quest to become the next Iowa Secretary of State.

“On November 2nd, I will be casting my vote for Libertarian candidates Eric Cooper for Governor and Jake Porter for Secretary of State. I have full faith that their intentions are to protect and uphold The Constitution of the United States of America.” said Sanger. “If you followed the Sanger campaign and/or voted for me, I encourage you to vote for Eric and Jake. These two men believe what I believe in – minimum government, maximum freedom.”

Sanger received 26% of the vote in a three way contest for the June Republican primary. The Porter campaign will be launching radio advertisements on October 4 and they received the endorsement of the Boston Tea Party last week. Porter faces Republican Matt Schultz and Democrat incumbent Michael Mauro in the general election.
